Shakhtar midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk has gone on loan to Desna
The agreement with Chernihiv-based club is effective for one season.
First in the new millennium
Mykhailo Mudryk is a graduate of Shakhtar Academy. In 2018, he won the Ukrainian League title with the U17 team. Mykhailo also played for Shakhtar youth team, taking part in two UEFA Youth League competitions with the U19 team. In the autumn of 2018, Mudryk made his senior team debut in a cup game against Olimpik (3-2) at the age of 17, being the first Shakhtar player born in the new millennium (5 January 2001).
Premier League games
In the 2018/19 season, Mykhailo played on loan for Arsenal-Kyiv (making 10 UPL appearances). And late in the 2019/20 season, the footballer debuted for Shakhtar: Luis Castro fielded Mudryk in the games against Desna (4-2), Kolos (2-0) and Oleksandriia (2-2).
