- Manor, what do you make of the draw?

- Maccabi Tel-Aviv is a big club with great history, one of the biggest clubs in Israel together with Maccabi Haifa. Our opponents won the last two championships. This is the most decorated club in Israel and, perhaps, the most popular one. Maccabi Tel-Aviv have fans all over the country and my family are also fans of this team. That said, it will be a bit weird for me to oppose this team together with Shakhtar, but in general I am really excited about playing them in my homeland.

- How did people in Israel react to the draw outcome? What do the press write, what do the players say?

- For me, the draw result was a surprise. When Maccabi appeared on the screen as the opponents name, all my family members and I rejoiced. They immediately asked me: “What should we do now? Who should we root for?” The media are also excited - they expect some interesting games. As for the players, I know most of them, some of them play for the national team with me, some others are my good friends. After talked after the draw - everyone really looks forward to the games and wants to exchange shirts after it.

- What’s Maccabi Tel-Aviv like these days? What’s their style and tactic?

- They have some great young players, for example Yonatan Cohen and Dan Glazer. They interact well with more experienced performers such as Sheran Yeini, Eytan Tibi, Eyal Golasa. I think it gives the team a good balance. In my opinion, their midfielders are particularly strong - Peretz, Golasa, Glazer and others ... The team are well prepared physically, they play powerfully, they know well how to move the ball. It will be really interesting! I’m really looking forward to it myself.
