- Dodo, what’s your impression of the tournament in Colombia?
- Just great! We played throughout the tournament very confidently, we didn’t suffer a single defeat, and we managed to fulfil our major goal - to qualify for the 2020 Olympics with Brazil U23.
- You participated in matches vs Paraguay and Colombia. How did Brazil manage to top the group?
- The team showed their best side. We have many ambitions, we want to win every match. All this proves that in the current generation of the Brazilian U23 team, there are many players who can cope with the task of any complexity.
- Are Brazil U23 ready, just like four years ago, to win the Olympic tournament in the summer?
- Of course, we all believe that we’ll able to win the Olympic title again.
- You are returning to Shakhtar. Does the injury bother you?
- I had a minor ankle sprain, but I recovered 100 percent, being completely healthy now. I look forward to the moment when I’ll join the team. We’ve got a really busy schedule this spring, and we must show our best.
