The team began the second day of the training camp in Belek with some intensive pitch work

The morning session was dedicated to simulating game situations: the players practised one-on-one and two-on-one situations, quick short-pass moves, along with flank bursts and crosses into the penalty area. They separately worked on finishing attacks, with the defenders honing their defensive skills under the supervision of assistant manager Joao Brandao.

Valerii Bondar ran individually, while Vladyslav Vakula and Ihor Kiryukhantsev gradually intensified training after getting a chance to prove themselves.
My first impressions of the work and of the coaching staff are just positive: good training, interesting exercises. The main thing is that I’m side by side with the top-class players who constantly motivate you to progress
“I’m happy to get this opportunity to be on the training camp with Shakhtar. This is my home club where was growing up and playing for the Academy teams for many years, and I can well say that I’m back home now,” the Shakhtar defender Ihor Kiryukhantsev shared his emotions. “My first impressions of the work and of the coaching staff are just positive: good training, interesting exercises. The main thing is that I’m side by side with the top-class players who constantly motivate you to progress. I feel that at every session. I want to show my best. I will do my utmost to prove myself at the training camp and to get a chance to remain in the team.”
