Shakhtar in Turkey: awaiting matches

The day was fully dedicated to training. After conducting the morning session in the rain, the footballers had lunch and some rest, getting back to work in the evening. The evening session had a pre-match nature: a warm-up, squares, tactical practice, and a small-sided game across one-third of the pitch.
 
We want to mention that the defender Valerii Bondar already returned to the general group. The U21 players Mykhailo Mudryk, Artem Bondarenko, and Nazarii Muravskyi continue training with the senior team.

“The first team have pretty serious workloads, the players are quicker in every aspect: in motion and decision-making. For young players this is a very big responsibility because they want to use their chances and to show themselves in the best possible way, so excitement is present,” stresses the defender Nazarii Muravskyi. - “I feel great physically because we started working back in Kyiv and arrived for the training camp in pretty good shape. The guys from the senior team help us tactically: David Khocholava constantly prompts, other defenders also do so. In the first game, they advised a lot. There are top-level opponents here, all the teams are very well organized, so it’s interesting to play them. I hope that in the next two friendlies, the coaches will still entrust a place in the line-up to me - this is a huge experience.”
