Class is class

- My comment is simple: the team tried hard, doing it with great desire. We fielded the updated roster. We really wanted to get some points against Shakhtar, although we understand that this is difficult. Despite the fact that the opponents didn’t deploy their main team, the difference in our pace and skill was still big. We looked good, but class is class. It’s hard to play neck and neck against Shakhtar throughout the game. And when all the stars came on as subs, it got more difficult for us. We really tried, created multiple chances ... Shakhtar are stronger – we must admit it. I just want to thank my guys for the attitude, for the fact that we didn’t drop deep, playing offensively. We always do this. It was a pretty good match for us. Of course, I’d love to grab some points, but that’s how things are so far.
 
- What are your plans for the break? What are your problematic roles?
- It's too early to talk about the offseason. We are facing a match against Dynamo, it will be in the spotlight. I have a team who must win transitional games. If it so happened that we have transitional matches - we must win them. The chance to advance to European competitions may be once in a lifetime. The guys may well leave their names and the name of the club Kolos Kovalivka in history. There can be no talk about the break, because our team are preparing for those games.
 
- Are you surprised by this kind of competition for the second spot? The performance of what opponents do you like more?
- I think everyone likes Zorya’s game: top-quality, well-tuned, attacking. They picked the players who can offer themselves between the thirds, who work well with the ball. And the team put pressure just excellently.
