Shakhtar footballers continue preparing for this Saturday’s match against Dynamo. On the morning of July 2nd, the Miners trained on a pitch of the Sviatoshyn sports complex
Playing intensity
The session began with the usual warm-up and ball exercises, then the team divided into two groups: the defence players were trained by Joao Brandao, while the attacking footballers worked on launching and finishing attacks. Luis Castro dedicated the second part of the session to tactic and small-sided games across two-thirds of the pitch.
Personnel issue
The injured Viktor Kovalenko, Alan Patrick and David Khocholava did not take part in today's training. At the same time, defender Valerii Bondar got back to running work on the field after recovering from an injury.
We want to remind you that the UPL round 29 game Dynamo - Shakhtar will be held at the NSC Olimpiyskiy in the capital on July 4th. It kicks off at 19:30.
