In Rome on June 22, Shakhtar defender Ismaily underwent a knee surgery

We previously reported that the footballer had suffered a knee joint injury in training that affected an anterior cruciate ligament.

According to the medical department, the operation was successful. Ismaily will stay in Rome for 7 to 14 days. He is expected to be able to begin individual recovery sessions in a week.

Upon returning to Ukraine, the Shakhtar defender will work individually. The full recovery period will take him up to six months.
