Shakhtar midfielder Manor Solomon told in his interview to shakhtar.com about health, the season resumption, his return to the pitch and learning Portuguese

- Manor, it’s the second month of quarantine in Ukraine. How do you spend this time?
- Just like everyone else, I stay at home, watching movies and TV shows, playing FIFA games, training once or twice a day to keep fit, learning the Portuguese language, talking to my family and friends.

- What do you miss more – communication with your teammates or training on the pitch and matches?
- Most of all, I’ve been missing matches. First, there was a winter break, then I got injured, then came coronavirus and quarantine. I’ve been missing football a lot. I can’t wait for the moment when my teammates and I can train and take the field again. I hope we can finish the league campaign. Of course, health is the most important thing, but I would like the games to continue. Most likely, we will have to play without any fans present, but that’s the only way possible.

- How has your life changed due to quarantine? For example, David Khocholava learns playing the piano ... Have you learnt anything new?
- I learn Portuguese myself, and also do some stretching exercises that I usually didn’t do.

- They say that quarantine in Israel is really strict which resulted in a lower number of cases.
- The situation in Israel is very good these days. Indeed, quarantine was strict: nearly everyone stayed at home for several weeks, with just a limited number of people going to work. And at the moment, the result is positive. In general, we start getting back to normal life, with many facilities reopening.

- The fans have been missing football and the team. What would you like to tell them?
- I wish the Shakhtar fans to be healthy! The current situation is difficult for everyone, but I believe that we will soon see each other at the stadium. We are looking forward to the moment when we can play and delight you again!
