- The question about the training camp you missed due to coronavirus: how hard was it to follow the team on TV?

- That’s how the circumstances developed. Most importantly, the guys really proved themselves. We have a close-knit team, in which all are for one another. We continue our journey and want to complete the task set by the coach.

- The coronavirus has complicated the conditions in the national team. How do you communicate and generally perceive this situation?

- We have tests taken, therefore, basically, there are no restrictions in our communication. All tested negative and are healthy. And we wish the ill guys good health - hopefully, they will return as soon as possible. We must support each other and fulfil our task.

- At the last training camp, the coronavirus knocked down the goalkeepers - only Heorhii Buschan remained. Is that why Andriy Shevchenko has called up four goalkeepers this time?

- Yes, it happened like that back then: the guys were called up, but their tests were also positive ... And this goes on. We hope everyone will get over this easily and everything will be fine.

- Do you feel tired if we consider that clubs have to participate in Champions League matches nearly every week?

- Of course, there is some fatigue, but this is part of football. I always say that it’s better to play once in three to four days because we get in shape and get used to that kind of rhythm. The main thing is that no one gets sick, I guess everyone will stand this pace.

- Ukraine have got three games ahead: how difficult is it to play non-stop?

- Of course, when we had two matches, there was a longer period for preparation between them. And now we’ve got one or two days plus the next one. But that’s OK, we are coping with it.

- What do you make of Poland national team?

- They have the leader - a good striker who scores many goals, he’s one of the best these days. But we mustn’t forget that they are an even team. We’ll have a friendly. They have their own tasks, we’ve got ours. The coach will tell us how to act, who will play, and we must achieve the maximum result.

- What was Andriy Shevchenko’s pep talk about on the first day of this training camp?

- All three matches are important, there are no easy ones. He said he would see and think about those who would play. And he wished us good luck! I would like to claim three victories.
