Tomorrow, as part of the UPL MD7, Luis Castro's men will have to play against Vorskla who have scored 14 points in six previous meetings. The game will take place at the Bannikov stadium in Kyiv and will start early - at 14:00.
“We will meet with one of the league leaders. As in any match, we consider the opponents as tough. Everyone wants to compete for the top spot, to win the title. Regardless of your rivals sitting in the top or second spot, the games are always really difficult. This will be the case this time as well,” the Miners’ manager Luis Castro said in his interview to Shakhtar News. “I expect a difficult, maximally complex game. Vorskla are an experienced team who achieved excellent results early this season. They played very well against Olimpik Donetsk, claimed a hard-fought but important victory for them, earning three points. We will see the motivated and committed team.”

Shakhtar's Friday session lasted just over an hour, with the players who appeared vs Real Madrid spending 45 minutes on the pitch. Among other things, the Miners practised tactical elements and set pieces, with the session ending up in a small-sided game across one third of the pitch. We want to note that Taras Stepanenko, Taison, Alan Patrick, Mykola Matviienko and Serhii Bolbat have already resumed training in the general group.
Sergii Kryvtsov, Junior Moraes and Fernando still exercise individually. Ismaily, Yevhen Konoplyanka, Viktor Kovalenko and Vladyslav Vakula also train in line with a different programme.
