Shakhtar Football School coaches completed training at the FC Shakhtar Academy
In Kyiv and in Brovary, there are children's football schools for comprehensive skill development that were opened under the club franchise.
Master class by Cardoso
Before starting to work, the Shakhtar Football School coaches were trained at the club Academy. Youth Football Centre head Edgar Cardoso gave a master class to the young coaches that involved both theory and practice (direct interaction with children). Upon completion of the course, all participants received corresponding certificates.
“The visit of the coaches to the Shakhtar Academy base is a great initiative,” Edgar Cardoso stressed. “It’s very important to work well, respect the vision and style of the club, follow the methods and strategies that are applied to young talented players across the country.”
One of the master class participants, the coach Anastasiya Klipachenko shared her impressions:
“Everything is very professional and incredible! If all coaches are trained like this, children's football in Ukraine will reach a new level.”
