Shakhtar forward Danyil Sikan went on loan to Mariupol
The agreement with the Mariupol-based club is effective until the 2020/21 season end.
World Champion
Danyil Sikan joined Shakhtar back in January 2019. He has already played for Mariupol on loan in the 2018/19 season, having made six appearances in the Premier League. At the same time, Danyil won the FIFA U20 World Cup title with Ukraine U20, netting four goals in the finals in Poland and receiving the Silver Boot as the second best scorer in the competition.
Champions League debut
In the summer of 2019, Sikan returned to Shakhtar. With the U19 team, the striker took part in the UEFA Youth League, also making his UEFA Champions League debut with the first team by coming on as a substitute in an away game against Manchester City.
