I’m really attracted to this kind of football

- It’s very unexpected for me, but I’ve long been striving for this. At age 18, Fati plays for Barcelona senior team. I believe it's the right age for progressing and making it to the first team.

- What new things do you see here? What’s different in the training process?

- Fast thinking and technique. With very few errors. The team are among the world’s top 20 sides - this is the best indicator. Both pace and thinking - everything is top-level here, making it significantly different even from the reserve team play.

- Did you talk to the coaches?

- Darijo told me to progress, he told me that my time has come and that they are counting on me. But we haven’t had any specific conversations yet.

- Do the more experienced players help you?

- Yes, the team are great, you can ask everyone for assistance, ask them a question - and they will help you.

- Is it difficult to play against the Brazilians?

- Difficult, but pleasant at the same time. Because they both play and let you play. You feel confident with them. I’m really attracted to this kind of football now: fast thinking, continuously passing the ball around, one-twos. It's pleasant to interact with them.

- Are there any special exercises that differ from the reserve team’s work?

- There are no major differences. Just like in the reserve team, in the first team everything is aimed at passing and controlling the ball. The only difference, perhaps, is space and faster thinking.
