Women's team forward Polina Yanchuk has become Shakhtar’s Player of the Year according to fans
The fans determined the Female Player of the Year 2021 in the opinion poll on the pages of Shakhtar women’s team on Instagram and Facebook. Everyone could make their choice by posting the surname of the selected player in the comments.
1,152 people expressed their opinions, and Polina Yanchuk won the award by securing 312 votes. Lyubov Mokhnach (257) and Oleksandra Krevska (256) claimed the second and third spots.
We want to point out that in the season’s first part Polina became the top scorer of the First League (25 goals in 10 matches), she was also picked as Player of the Month for September and October 2021.
