Shakhtar and Moraes: contract extension

On December 8, FC Shakhtar has extended the contract with Junior Moraes
The deal with the striker expires on June 30, 2022.
Junior Moraes has been at Shakhtar since July 2018. He was the Ukrainian league top scorer twice in a row and passed the milestone of 100 goals in total in this competition over his career.
In April 2021, Moraes got injured in training and dropped out for six months, resuming training in the general group in late November.
Junior made 105 appearances for Shakhtar in all competitions and notched up 61 goals. His scoring average of 0.58 is the best figure among all the players to have made over a hundred apps in the club history.
