Shakhtar opened second football school in Kyiv

Shakhtar Football School is a franchise project of FC Shakhtar. The methodology was developed by the club’s Academy that the best students of the school will be invited to for trials later.

“The main goal is to create the opportunity for children from different regions of Ukraine to play football and eventually get into the FC Shakhtar Academy system,” says the project manager Yevhen Akhunov. “At the moment, more than 300 kids are involved in the project. In the near future, Shakhtar Football Schools will also open in Mariupol and Poltava.”
