Happy day

- Because of your injury, you’ve been absent on the pitch for a long while. How do you feel now and are you ready to play for 90 minutes?

- Seven long months without football -  it was a very difficult period of long and hard work. I was rooting for our team off the pitch, and now I’m happy that I’ve finally returned and took part in the match. It’s a happy day! I played again and felt good. Of course, there are still many things to improve, but it was important to feel the atmosphere and show myself on the pitch.

- Did you worry before the match, did you fear challenges and collisions?

- I had a very serious injury, I didn't play for too long, but before the friendly I was even more excited than usual about being able to appear again and prove myself. Thank God everything worked out, I felt good. Of course, I had minor fears, but those are mostly my thoughts. I'm on the right track. I will continue working to get back to competitive games asap.

- Has anything changed in your play after the injury?

- I hope not. I’m gradually returning and believe that very soon I’ll be able to play just as before. A fear is present because this injury, of course, will forever remain in my head. The most important thing is to work hard, try hard and feel better and better every day to show your best.

- Borac played the first half defending deep down their half. Did it remind you of the Ukrainian league games?

- Indeed, the opponents just defended. This is similar to the tactics of many teams we face in our league. It’s necessary to act very quickly to open spaces. It was especially difficult on the left flank where Taison was opposed by a few players all the time who fully sealed off our zone. But we are used to it - you need to be ready to open different defence types. It’s a great test game before the season resumption.
