Shakhtar are preparing for the season’s second part
On February 8, the Miners resumed training in the frosty Kyiv after returning from their training camp in Turkey and having a couple of days' rest.

The 70-minute training session took place on the field of the Sviatoshyn sports complex in the snowfall and at the ambient temperature of -12oC. However, the weather does not scare anyone - the players are ready for it both physically and mentally. The weather people forecast similar weather conditions for the coming days and Saturday when Shakhtar will meet with Kolos.
After the warm-up and squares, the Miners focussed on playing exercises: keeping the ball, pressing, performing in a limited area, they also played a small-sided game across a half of the pitch. David Khocholava missed the training, while Maksym Malyshev and Heorhii Sudakov exercised individually.
Thus, Shakhtar began their week-long cycle of preparation for the first competitive match in 2021. The encounter with Kolos at the arena of the same name kicks off in Kovalivka at 17:00 on February 13.
