Mudryk to go on a training camp with Shakhtar

Shakhtar Academy graduate Mykhailo Mudryk, who turned 20 on January 5th, gets back to Shakhtar and will go with the team on a winter training camp in Turkey

Mudryk spent the first part of the 2020/21 season on loan at Desna Chernihiv (he made 10 league apps and one Ukrainian Cup app).

At the outset of his career

Mykhailo Mudryk is a graduate of Shakhtar Academy. In 2018, Mykhailo became the champion of Ukraine with Shakhtar U17. He also played for Shakhtar U21, with U19 he took part in two UEFA Youth League campaigns. In the autumn of 2018, Mudryk made his senior debut in a cup tie vs Olimpik (3-2) at age 17 and became the first Shakhtar player to be born in the new millennium (5 January 2001).

In the 2018/19 season, Mykhailo played on loan for Arsenal-Kyiv (10 UPL apps). Late in the 2019/20 UPL campaign, he made his senior debut with Shakhtar: Luis Castro fielded Mudryk in the games against Desna (4-2), Kolos (2-0) and Oleksandriia (2-2). This season, the winger has taken part in 10 league games for Desna.
