Roman Zaiev's team began the second stage of their pre-season preparation for the league campaign

Shakhtar women's team held the first training session as part of the second stage of their preparatory camp at the club's Academy base in Shchaslyve. The session lasted two hours and included a theory part, running, set play practice, alogn with some intense ballwork.

Polina Yanchuk, forward:

“We started the second training camp. It seems that the sessions are more intense now than those we had before. During the first stage, we conducted two sessions a day, while now we work only once a day, but the sessions are longer and functionally tougher. We did a lot of running work today, with no smooth transition after rest days.”

We should note that Shakhtar women's team started training on June 30 with a nine-day camp. Then they had a recovery break, with the second training camp kicking off on July 14, during which they plan to improve their fitness for the entire season.
The training camps will help us approach the season in optimum form to withstand 90 minutes of play and achieve results
