Shakhtar began preparing for the new season in a Puma training kit
From day one, the team have been wearing white, black and turquoise Puma kits.
Presentation is on July 15!
Shakhtar and Puma signed a contract in 2020 and announced the new kit to be released before the 2021/22 season kickoff. The official presentation will take place on 15 July. They plan a large-scale event within which Puma and Shakhtar will present the exclusive home and away kits, as well as training kits. The equipment will go on sale on the same day.
"I saw the players wearing this kit at the season’s first training session. The outfit and its quality are impressive. I am sure that great victories and some cool projects await us with Puma," Shakhtar Director of Football Darijo Srna shares his impression.
Before the official presentation of the new exclusive kit, Shakhtar will use outfits from the regular Puma collection in their friendly matches at the training camp in Austria.
Unrestricted movement
The new kit makes it possible to move without restrictions and fully feel your body. The technology created by Puma developers ensures moisture wicking. This allows the football player to maintain a comfortable body temperature during the game by using a special mesh for clothes airing. Also, one of the kit advantages is its environmental friendliness: the outfit is made of recycled polyester which significantly reduces environmental impact.
The new kit symbolizes the beginning of a new journey to victory with the sports brand Puma. "We see opportunities when others see restrictions. Our decision is to get rid of limitations" - with this slogan Shakhtar kicks off the new season together with Puma.
