On the morning of March 17, Shakhtar held an open training session before the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 return leg vs the Italian Roma

Reporters could watch the opening 15 minutes of the sessions on the sidelines.

All in all, the session lasted an hour. In addition to a regular warm-up and squares, the session programme included play organizing exercises and a mini-tournament with splitting into three teams.

“We are preparing in the best way. The result is tough, but we’ll try to correct everything we did wrong in the first meeting,” said Shakhtar midfielder Marcos Antonio. “Unfortunately, in Rome, we did not deliver a very good performance and suffered quite a big defeat, but we know our opponents better now and will try to turn everything in our favour. I wouldn’t say that it’s impossible.”
