In an interview to Shakhtar News, the midfielder Tete shared his vision of the upcoming Europa League Round of 16 second leg in Kyiv
- How are preparations for the match against Roma going? What do the coaching staff focus on?
- The preparation is going well. We lost the first leg, but we are working, training to deliver a decent return performance, to reverse it and advance further.
- What conclusions have been drawn? Has your perception of the opponents changed?
- The things that we expected got confirmed. We knew that Roma are really strong. The opponents did well in the first match and, without a doubt, they will show their full form in the return leg, but we will also try to play well.
- Could you single out anyone in Roma?
- No. Each team has some good players - it would be wrong to single someone out.
- What do you need to change in order to win?
- I think we need to press high - the opponents are quite vulnerable at that moment. To reach the box and score goals.
- How will the first leg outcome affect the game pattern?
- We need to approach the match as if it was our first. From the start to the last minute we’ll try to put pressure on the Romans and achieve victory.
