We had time to change formation

Minaj head coach Mykola Tsymbal spoke on the match against Shakhtar in Kyiv
- Regarding the first half, I would like to thank the guys for following the game plan. They moved across the field well, managed to block the Shakhtar players who came out and did not play fast. This pace allowed us to change our defensive formation. We had some good counterattacks to score a goal, but, alas, we missed the target. In the second half, we started to charge forward more because we understood that we needed to pull some goals back and earn points to save ourselves from relegation. Shakhtar players who have great skill got more open space and made good use of it.
- What about Artem Milevskyi? Why didn't he play today?
- Artem has has the adductor muscle issue which didn’t allow him to be available. Only healthy footballers were needed for this game. I would like to talk not only about Artem, but about the whole team. We’ve got lots of injured players. At the end of the season, our injured list is another full-fledged squad.
- The team took the pitch 30 minutes later. Is it true that this is related to the match-fixing story?
- I’m not going to comment on this aspect. I want to talk only about football, about game situations. As for football-related topics, I think the management will express the club's official position.
- How can you explain the fact that the club got involved in a match-fixing story after Sevidov's appearance in the team?
- What matches?
- The rumours that the team did not appear due to ...
- Today, I cannot reproach a single football player who took the football field for not giving their all, for benefitting the opponents’ goals. On the contrary, I’m grateful to the players: they gave their all, they did very well, that in this difficult situation they took to the field and gave it their utmost. Skill is not foremost in this case. I can’t comment on the things you are asking me about, I do not see any logic in that.
