Shakhtar women's team continue preparing for the match against Dnipro-1
On October 6, Roman Zaiev's team held a session as part of a two-week cycle of preparation for the match against Dnipro-1. Traditionally, the session lasted two hours and was held on the Shakhtar Academy field in Shchaslyve.
At the beginning of the training session, all 16 footballers went for a run. The outfield players then focussed on running exercises and increasing their stamina and pace, while the goalkeepers concentrated on cutting the angle and set-pieces. In the second part of the session, the girls split into groups to practise passing, tackling and attack completion elements.
