Shakhtar head coach Roberto De Zerbi answered reporters' questions after the charity match against Lechia
- First of all, I want to thank Lechia Gdansk and their coach Tomasz Kaczmarek because I understand how difficult it is to play in the middle of the week. At the moment, football is definitely not paramount for us. These days, there are many things that are much more important. And it’s clear that our thoughts are currently focused not on training and not on matches since we are going through a really tough situation.
- The last attack with the goal by the boy Dmytro – was it planned or did it all happen spontaneously?
- Of course, everything was spontaneous.
- What can you say about the atmosphere at the charity matches against Olympiacos and Lechia?
- We currently travel around Europe as guests and are grateful to everyone who gives us the opportunity to play in different cities. Today we are in Poland which is closer to Ukraine. Therefore, of course, it was more emotional. We can say that the two peoples are very similar, and that’s why people in the stands were more emotional.
