Happy Independence Day!

“Dear Ukrainians!

Today we clearly understand, maybe like never before, what Independence is and its real price.

Brave Ukrainian warriors have been fighting with the enemy for six month already. The enemy that decided to take our land, our freedom, our choice. They fight to ensure that Ukraine lives, fight for the future of our country.

Every Ukrainian has been living with one dream for six month already. And this dream is called Victory of Ukraine. And it will certainly come true. It is possible thanks to heroism of every person, at the front or in the rear, within Ukraine or abroad.

Thanks to our warriors whose deed has already became a history.

Thanks to our medical professionals fighting for people's lives.

Thanks to manufacturing industry workers who did not leave the production facilities maintaining and supporting Ukrainian economy stability.

Thanks to heroism of agrarians working in the fields despite of fatal danger there.

Thanks to heroism of teachers, miners, emergency response workers, infrastructure personnel.

On earth and at sea, below surface and in the sky.

I know that there are enough love and unity in the hearts of Ukrainians to withstand and win. And then, we will rebuild our Ukraine for present and future generation to flourish.

I wish you all long peaceful years. Together we are building solid foundation now for strong and prosperous Ukraine of the future. It is Ukraine where many reasons to be proud wait for us.

May peace prevail on our land as soon as possible!
