Shakhtar Academy team took the second place at the international youth tournament in Germany
Representational international tournament among U15 teams in Augsburg where Shakhtar Donetsk team managed by Oleksandr Ovchynnykov has participated was finished.
10 teams from 9 countries were divided into 2 groups. 2 best teams from each group advanced to play-offs according to results. Shakhtar had 2 victories over Silkeborg (2-1) and Luxembourg national team (3-0), one draw in match vs Borussia Dortmund (2-2) and lost to Dinamo Zagreb (0-1) in the group stage.
The Miners minimally outplayed Juventus (1-0) in semifinal in extra time. Ovchynnykov’s team met with Danish Silkeborg in the final, but lost with the score of 0-2.
