Shakhtar’s plans: the second training camp will be in Slovenia

Shakhtar footballers got 3 days off when the training camp in the Netherlands was finished. The players need to rest and recover after 17 days of intensive training work and friendly matches.

Already on August 3, the team will gathered in Slovenia where the second part of preparation for the new season will take place.

We remind that Igor Jovicevic’s team will play charity match of the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace with Italian football club AS Roma on August 7. Meeting will take place in Rome at the Stadio Olimpico starting at 21:45. The ticket price is from EUR 10.

Proceeds from the sale of tickets and advertising will be used to purchase everything necessary for the defenders of Ukraine, Ukrainian citizens and children affected by the war. A total of UAH 13.2 million has been raised through the 5 charity matches played in the spring.

We want to point out that from February 24 to July 1, SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and FC Shakhtar have granted more than UAH 2.7 billion or about USD 90 million to help Ukraine and Ukrainians, with the amount increasing daily. Humanitarian aid has already reached over 3 million people.
