We grow as players and as a team

- These are your first long training camps, what do you make of them?

- Yes, for me these are the first training camps of this kind, they are really challenging. We know what’s important for the second part of the league campaign, and we are trying to correct the mistakes we made last year not to repeat them any more. We are also getting better because we know that we can finish the league campaign well.

- What’s the difference between the first stage of the training camp and the second one for you personally?

- The sessions are changing and getting more intense. We need them to return as even stronger players.

- Presently, the team are working a lot on tactics: are you practising your old formations or developing new ones?

- The coach likes to work out some specific components of the game and is very demanding. But we are steping up not just one aspect, but many of them – that’s how we grow as players and as a team.

- What’s your take on the recent friendlies? How far are Shakhtar from their optimum form?

- We know that after a vacation we don’t always get back to work in the best shape, as we had a long rest. We’ve had good matches and I believe that we will play even better now. This is just the beginning.

- How did David Neres and Vinicius Tobias adapt and whom have you managed to find mutual understanding and play with?
