- The winter training camp is over now, what do you make of Shakhtar's readiness for the second part of the league campaign?
- We are actually ready to the maximum, by 97 percent. Just the remaining week before the game against Metalist 1925 will allow us to get three more percent. Of course, we primarily want to win the league title and raise the Cup of Ukraine. In the Premier League we have 12 matches, where we need to secure 12 wins and score 36 points.
- What has changed in Shakhtar's play after the winter friendlies?
- We did lots of tactical things, and in this regard, I believe, we’ve managed to reach a new level. We’re progressing daily, with every training session and game, which you can see in both our matches and each player’s performance.
- What can you say about this year’s first opponents Metalist 1925 Kharkiv?
- A good team who to play football. The first-stage game turned out to be tough, so it will be even more difficult away. But our objective is to base it around our own play. If we show our football and our maximum, that won’t be an issue for us.
