In an interview with Shakhtar TV, Viktor Korniienko spoke about the peculiarities of the five-day rest break and his impressions of the Turkish training camp stage two kickoff
- Viktor, how did you spend your time off?
- Everything was as usual – I did it in the family circle. I rested, then I worked out individually for a couple of days.
- How hard is it to get back to work after such a long break?
- The coaches know how to properly prepare us. I don't think anyone will have any issues whatsoever.
- What did you focus on in the first session?
- We did a lot of running work. Apparently, for us to regain the fitness we had before the break.
- Before the session, we saw a lot of friendly hugs. Did you miss each other these days?
- Of course we did as we are one family. Even when getting just two days off, we will be missing one another!
