- Vinicius, Shakhtar played a match that cannot be called a friendly game. What do you make of it? What does the match make you think of?
- I think every match is like waging war, like a championship match. Yes, indeed, the match was not that easy to play, but we applied every effort to pull off a win. The opponents were able to score an equalizer, but we finally put them away and won.
- How did the team welcome you onboard?
- Just super! The guys gave me a warm welcome. I have said more than once that the team is very friendly. I feel at home, getting better and better every day. I am very happy to play for Shakhtar and be a part of this great football club.
- Do you think that you are improving your physical condition if you were to compare the first training sessions with the current ones?
- Of course, I am. I work every day to improve. I try to give my all on the pitch at every training session because this is the most important thing. I am very happy when I do everything the right way. I hope I can take many more huge steps forward and become a better player than I am now.
- What would you like to tell the fans as a rookie?
- I want to tell the fans that it's a pity that even at such games they are not with us. Your rooting for us is what we cannot do without here, at the stadium. But we are going to return to Ukraine soon to play and win for you. And we hope that you keep rooting for us. Thank you!
