The team of Igor Jovicevic will play the second test match at the training camp in the Netherlands

Shakhtar will play the charity match of the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace against Ajax on July 26. The meeting will take place in Amsterdam at the Johan Cruijff Arena starting at 21:00 Kyiv time.

Live stream will be available to watch on Megogo platform, Xsport TV channel and Shakhtar's official YouTube channel.

Being founded in 1900, Ajax is the most titled club in the Netherlands. Amsterdam players have won the 36th championship title of the Eredivisie in 2021/22 season. Sebastien Haller, who joined Borussia Dortmund this summer, has become the best goalscorer of the league (21 goals). But this transfer did not break the record. Selling of back Lisandro Martinez to Manchester United for almost EUR 57 million is still in the top.

There are following main purchases of the club during this period between seasons: transfer of winger Steven Bergwijn from Tottenham, back Kevin Bassi from Glasgow Rangers and forward Brian Brobbey from RB Leipzig. Ajax is preparing of the season under the guidance of new manager Alfred Schreuder, who replaced Erik ten Hag, who, in turn, has left to MU.

This summer Ajax had the time to experience 5 sparring matches: with German Meppen (3:0) and Paderborn (2:5), Bulgarian Lokomotiv (3:0), Belgian Eupen (1:1), and Austrian RB Salzburg (3:2).

Meet with the Amsterdammers will be the second test match at the training camp in the Netherlands for Shakhtar. The future plans of the Miners include charity matches of Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace against Utrecht (July 30) and Roma (August 7).

Proceeds from the sale of tickets and advertising will be used to purchase everything necessary for the defenders of Ukraine, Ukrainian citizens and children affected by the war. A total of UAH 13.2 million has been raised through the 5 charity matches played in the spring.

We want to point out that from February 24 to July 1, SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and FC Shakhtar have granted more than UAH 2.7 billion or about USD 90 million to help Ukraine and Ukrainians, with the amount increasing daily. Humanitarian aid has already reached over 3 million people.
