Shakhtar donates 750 helmets to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

The protective equipment was purchased using the funds raised through the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace games
FC Shakhtar is handing over 750 protective helmets for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The funds for purchasing the helmets were raised during the spring series of Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace charity games that had been held with the support of the club's partner SkyUp Airlines and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Let us remind you that earlier the club had already purchased and handed over 1,500 first aid kits to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
In total, the five friendly matches within the tour that were played by the team in different European countries (Turkey, Croatia, Greece and Poland) yielded UAH 13.2 million. In total, charitable projects of FC Shakhtar and the club's partners during this period amassed UAH 25.6 million to help Ukraine.
Everything necessary for the defenders of Ukraine, Ukrainian citizens and children affected by the war is being purchased using the funds raised.
Let us remind you that since February 24, SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and the Shakhtar football club have granted more than UAH 2.4 billion or about USD 80 million to help Ukraine and Ukrainians, with the amount increasing daily. Humanitarian aid has already reached three million people.
