In the UEFA Nations League round 3, the Israel national team met with Albania away

Shakhtar midfielder Manor Solomon appeared in the starting lineup for Israel.

The first half was bossed by the hosts: the Albanians attacked more often and more dangerously, but they managed to score one in stoppage time – Broya netted one from the spot. However, after the break, the players of Israel managed fully change the situation on the field: they dominated in terms of the game plan and created many scoring chances. And Manor Solomon was the Man of the Match: on 57 minutes, he equalized the score with his accurate shot from outside the penalty area, and on 73 minutes the Shakhtar winger received the ball in the centre of the goal and outplayed the goalkeeper without any problems. In the 82nd minute, Manor was replaced by Hoffenheim midfielder Munas Dabbur, but the score remained unchanged until the final whistle.

2-1 – Solomon's double brought the Israelites victory. Alon Hazan's team are topping their group with four points. On June 13, in the next UEFA Nations League match, Israel will also play vs Iceland away.
