Forward Junior Moraes has left Shakhtar
The 34-year-old footballer will continue his career at Brazil’s SC Corinthians Paulista.
Moraes has played in Ukraine since the 2012/13 season. During this time, he amassed a total of more than a hundred goals in the domestic league. He joined Shakhtar in July 2018. Within two consecutive seasons, he became the top scorer in the Premier League (with 19 and 20 goals), won gold medals with the team twice and raised the Ukrainian Cup once.
In total, Junior made 106 appearances with the Miners and notched up 62 goals. His scoring average of 0.58 is the best in Shakhtar’s history among the players who appeared more than a hundred times.
