National team players have addressed the football community with a call to counter the war
Well-known Ukrainian footballers have recorded a special video message in which they ask the global community to help Ukraine and stop the invasion of Russian troops into our country. The players urge people to tell the truth about Russian aggression and military action, to spread this information via all available media.
“We are addressing the football community, everyone who is united by their passion for the game of football, every fan, every player, every coach, and every manager. Just everyone who understands and everyone who is fond of football.
We are addressing you to explain to the whole world and to show every inhabitant of the planet Earth that under the guise of a special operation, Russian troops have been waging an open war against Ukraine, launching rocket attacks on residential areas, and shelling civilians. We call on everyone who hears us to counter this war, stop the destruction and bloodshed. We are urging the entire global football community to counteract Russian propaganda and show the truth about the war in Ukraine using all possible resources. We are grateful to everyone who has already done so and to everyone who will support us.
Stop war!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!"
