Shakhtar midfielder will play for Corinthians
The deal is effective until the end of the calendar year 2022.
Maycon is a graduate of the SC Corinthians academy. He debuted for the club’s first team at age 18, made a total of 89 appearances, scored 7 goals and became the champion of Brazil in 2017.
Maycon has been a Shakhtar player since the summer of 2018. The central midfielder has made 98 appearances for Shakhtar in all competitions and netted 8 goals. With the team, he won two league titles (2019, 2020), raised a Cup (2019) and a Super Cup of Ukraine (2021).
