The Orange-and-Blacks will play in Croatia as part of the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace
Today May 1st, Shakhtar will meet with Hajduk Split in a charity match. This Croatian club was the first one in the career of Shakhtar’s legendary captain and current Director of Football Darijo Srna.
Roberto De Zerbi’s team arrived in Split yesterday. The game kicks off at the Poljud stadium at 16:00. It will be streamed live on Futbol 1 channel and the club’s YouTube channel.
Today's meeting is the fifth one in the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace series of charity matches. Let us remind you that all proceeds from the sale of tickets and advertising will be donated to Ukrainian citizens and doctors. The funds raised will also be spent on helping Ukrainian children affected by the war. To date, they have raised UAH 10.7 million in aid to Ukraiane.
It should be noted that about UAH 1.4 billion has already been transferred by the SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and Shakhtar football club to help Ukraine and Ukrainians just in the first 40 days of the war.
