The funds were raised through matches, joint events with partners and activities of the Shelter Centre and Shakhtar Social

The Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace game series brought a total of UAH 13.2 million in proceeds. The joint charity auctions with Sorare and Binance raised over UAH 7.2 million in total. Another four million hryvnias was collected by Shakhtar's Shelter Centre at the Arena Lviv, and UAH 1.2 million was raised by the Shakhtar Social foundation.

The proceeds have been used to purchase everything necessary for the defenders of Ukraine, Ukrainian citizens and children affected by the war.
The friendly matches that we played and the projects involving our commercial partners have already raised more than 25 million hryvnias

Sergei Palkin, FC Shakhtar CEO:

“The activities carried out by Shakhtar from the first days of the war against Russia are aimed primarily at accumulating the necessary resources for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to support our citizens. The friendly matches that we played and the projects involving our commercial partners have already raised more than 25 million hryvnias. We used a part of the funds to purchase first aid kits and helmets, and another part to support the Shelter Centre at the Arena Lviv. We also began to financially support children who lost their parents in the war. The club will continue working in this direction: we will do out utmost to help win the war. And there is no doubt that we will definitely win."

This is a reminder that SCM businesses, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and FC Shakhtar have already donated about UAH 2.1 billion to Ukraine and Ukrainian people since February 24. The total amount of aid including taxes paid upfront exceeds UAH 3 billion.
