Shakhtar women’s team will play the first away match in the Vyshcha League against Ladomyr

Before the match
Preparation was held at the Academy base in Shchaslyve in the mode of weekly cycle of one-time training sessions. Yuliia Semeniuk will not participate in the meet with Ladomyr due to cruciate ligament injury.

– I know the opponent, we have met more than once. Good team, many young girls. Matches with Ladomyr are always very difficult. I know that many players left the team during a pre-season period and now the core is formed by the youth.
Opponent
Ladomyr was formed in 2003 on the base of Volodymyr boarding school. Oleh Bortnyk has been holding the position of the head coach since 2014. The team won the First League in 2017 (currently this is the highest achievement), increased the class and became a constant participant of the Vyshcha League. The club was 6th at the moment of the previous championship interruption. Volyn girls had a confident victory over Ateks (8-0). The Ukraine women’s national team player Viktoriya Hiryn performed a hat trick. The opponent has 5 players remained from the previous season team; mean age of the squad is 18 years.
