Rukh head coach Leonid Kuchuk talked about the UPL MD3 match vs Shakhtar
– Very difficult game. The result depended on one chance and Shakhtar managed to score. The game was very hard and I wouldn’t say that it was easy for Shakhtar. I am satisfied with the team interactions and footballers, but we have a lot of young players who must do a lot of work and learn to concentrate on each moment when playing with Shakhtar. Everything depended on concentration, so scoring team is the winner.
– You continued to play without emphasis on attack after you obtained a numerical advantage, why?
– We played with emphasis on attack, but we did not succeed in many things. We lost the ball many times when the attacking footballers hurried. You cannot give the ball away during transition phase and we did it. I think that we had even more attempts in the first half than Shakhtar. The other thing is giving away the ball during transition phase, individual actions of footballers, for example, one-on-one. We lost in this area.
