– How can you assess the winning match against RB Leipzig?
– It was very interesting game against very interesting opponent. I am happy that the team won and demonstrated quality football.
– If comparing two halves, where did you like Shakhtar’s performance more?
– Both halves were interesting in terms of playing. RB Leipzig acted more due to their physical characteristics and we tried to demonstrate our play, sometimes we did well. This is achievement of the players. They prepared well and tried to play quality football, which determined the final score.
– Who you would like to specify individually among the players?
– The entire team was a family. Everyone fought for each other. The scored goals are meticulous work of the whole team.
– Andrii Buleza told that the coaching staff had a feeling that he has to score the day before the game. Did you have it as well?
– It is great that Buleza scored, but we train all the guys equally. Everyone must believe that he is able to convert his chance in any match.
– Will you agree that some periods in match were dominated by the Germans?
– Yes, there were moments when the opponent led and had the advantage. But we withstood, broke the game and tried to play our football. Those are the most important things under current conditions.
– Eurocup was successful for Shakhtar. What do you expect from your opponents in the next matches?
– First of all, we are happy that our guys gained some international experience. They have to progress, compare themselves with others and rise to a new level.
