Shakhtar women’s team confidently defeated Pantery
Veherych and Krevska played in the centre of defence from the opening minutes instead of injured Vyshnevska and suspended Henyk.
Shocking start
The match started unexpectedly for Shakhtar – with a missed goal. Already in the 3rd minute, Bilokur took advantage of Ustinova's mistake while rushing out and opened the scoring. However, Roman Zaiev's team recovered very quickly: Molodiuk was the first on retrieving a ball after a corner kick and equalized the score with a powerful shot. Then Shakhtar took complete control of the game and created several opportunities. First, Zaborovets made a long-range shot –above the target, and then Holovach made a direct corner kick – saved by the goalkeeper. Shakhtar managed to take the lead in the 33rd minute, when the combination of Semeniuk and Mokhnach was completed by Vykaliuk – 2-1.
Smashing defeat
In the second half, Shakhtar played more confidently and immediately sealed the lead. Molodiuk caught the opponents on the counterattack, breaking through the right wing and leading Vykaliuk to a shot - goal. In the next attack, they scored the fourth time, when Krevska headed the ball home after a pass by Holovach. In the 68th minute, Chendei assisted the captain again from a corner. Then Molodiuk scored with an excellent shot – right into the corner. At the end of the game, the host team scored two more times: Holovach beat the goalkeeper of Pantery, and Vykaliuk finalized the score, taking advantage of the chaos in the penalty area of the opponents in the added time. Shakhtar gained 3 points and continue to occupy the 3rd spot.
Shakhtar women's team will play their next away game on April 29 against Dnipro-1.
