Shakhtar midfielder Oleksii Kashchuk shared his expectations for the match against Oleksandriia and spoke about his return to the UPL
– How would you rate the team's form ahead of the game against Oleksandriia?
– Fitness is great. We are preparing for an important match and are looking forward to it.
– What strengths do the opponents have?
– The team in general started the season very well: two matches – two wins. We expect a tough match and are preparing for it.
– What is the major characterization you can give to coach Ruslan Rotan?
– Well, everyone in Ukraine knows what "Rotan-style" is – he forms very good squads both in the national team and at the club.
– You spent the last season on loan at Sabah FC. What are the main differences between the Azerbaijan Premier League and the UPL?
– Each league has its own features. They play more with the ball there, there are good teams that play forward, attack. But the UPL, I think, is stronger. I haven't played here for a long time, so I want to prove myself.
– What does Chyhrynskyi’s return mean for the team?
– This is very nice. We are excited to see all the strong returning players. I hope they will help us.
– How did you react to the transfer of Trubin to Benfica, because, on the one hand, it is the loss of a leader, and on the hand, it is a good chance for Anatolii to prove himself in Europe?
– We are all very happy for Anatolii Trubin, he has been waiting for it for a long time. It's a big loss for Shakhtar, but we wish him all the best.
– Has the UPL changed a lot after your return from abroad?
– No, I haven't really felt it yet as we played only two matches. Therefore, everything is ahead.
