The midfielder of the Miners talked to the children, play football with them and brought some gifts
On August 14, they held another session of the Come On, Let's Play! project, where children with disabilities are involved, in Kyiv at the Academy A+ facility. However, this time there was a surprise for the participants – Shakhtar player Oleksii Kashchuk attended the practice drill.
The footballer talked to the children and parents and took an active part in the training session: he performed various ball activities and coordination exercises together with the young sportsmen. The player gave gifts to the children and took memorable photos at the end of the lesson.
Oleksii Kashchuk, Shakhtar player:
– I’m very happy to visit the children! We conducted a short training session: we did some exercises, shot at the goal and had a great time in general. I got a lot of positive emotions and I hope the young footballers got them too. A very good event, children get impressions that are absolutely necessary for them. We want them to have only the best memories of this day.
We remind that the flagship project of the Shakhtar Social foundation Come On, Let's Play! operates in 33 Ukrainian cities. More than 1,800 children are involved in the programme. The general partner is DTEK.
