Shakhtar midfielder Heorhii Sudakov talked about his recovery, the timeframe of his return to the game and expectations for the match against Kryvbas
– Heorhii, you recently resumed working on the field. How do you feel now and what are your exercises aimed at?
– I am gradually recovering – I have been running on the field for three days, and now I started training with the ball. I already feel much better. I am not physically ready yet, but I have time – I plan to practise individually for another week before returning to the general group. Personally, I hope that I will be 100% ready for the game against Kolos.
– You train next to the team, you see the entire process of preparation for the next game. How do you think Shakhtar's match against Kryvbas will go?
– Of course, this game will be the central match of the round. Kryvbas are always the major opponents. In the previous season we had difficulties with them when we played at home, we won 1-0 in a very fierce struggle. The away matches are just as difficult: I see how prepared they are, how organised they are as a team. In the previous meeting, we won 3-0, but it was not an easy battle. I think that the match on Sunday will not be an exception and will be very difficult.
– You scored a goal during that game in Kryvyi Rih. Who do you think will score this time?
– It is difficult to predict, but I still hope that Oleksandr Zubkov will score, because he has many opportunities, but he does not manage to convert them.
