Rakitskyi wins the 2023 Goal Battle

We sum up the results of the Goal Battle project, in which fans picked the most beautiful goal of Shakhtar in 2023
Shakhtar and title partner FAVBET asked fans to choose the best goal of the team in 2023. The users voted for the favourites of the Goal Battle tournament every day on Shakhtar's official Instagram page, and Yaroslav Rakitskyi and Oleksandr Zubkov ended up in the finals based on the results of 4 qualifying stages.
In the final voting, the goal by Yaroslav Rakitskyi, who opened the scoring with his back after a corner in the first meeting of the Europa League Round of 16 with Feyenoord, got 174 votes from the fans. And 105 respondents supported Oleksandr’s spectacular shot in the match against Veres.
As a reminder, Yaroslav Rakitskyi’s goal surpassed the goals scored by Holovach (EMS-Podillia), Stepanenko (Dnipro-1) and Artem Bondarenko (Veres) on the way to the victory.
This season, the traditional New Year’s Eve Goal Battle project got more than 30,000 likes and 3,000 comments with 15 posts.
